On her first trip as leader, Rebecca superbly led a large group of 23 WOPpers (and one first time walker) on a glorious autumn day to explore the Upper and Lower Huia Dams. We had stunning weather with gorgeous views back across the harbour, and up the valley following the old tram line. It is incredible to think of the hard labour of the men and women who constructed these dams, and their remote lives.

As usual, a great tramp with wonderful company and lively conversation. Thanks, Rebecca, for such a great day out.
