TRIP SNIP (LEGS): Cutty Grass & Spraggs Bush, 13 June 2024

Brr! It was a chilly beginning on the Cutty Grass Track. After the first uphill the nine of us had warmed up, but still not needing a strip-stop.

With the threat of rain, it was comforting to know we had two huts for shelter – especially the Alpine Sports Club with its wide verandah. However, the weather was kind to us and we shared chocolates and raspberry & white chocolate muffins while signing a card for Sally's birthday. How many has she shared with WOPs? Dare we count?

Spraggs Bush was rewarding with lofty kauris and interesting vegetation shown to two brand-new WOPpers, Sonia and Carolyn. A big welcome to you both.

With birthdays in mind, the "Seniors," realised they had 326 years between them...and counting, they hope. Do dinosaurs still exist?

Another enjoyable day, thank you, Linda.
